Highspeed is one of the oldest and leading business house since 1960. The group initially started off as an inland shipping and shipbuilding company and earned phenomenal success in this field. Following 1972, the group started diversifying its businesses in the field of Heavy Plant Engineering, Deep Sea Fishing, International Trading, International Shipping, and lastly in real estate development in association with the renowned multinationals, Mitsui Group of Japan and Inchcape Group of UK.

We have completed a large number of large infrastructure projects like Kaptai Hydroelectric Power, Jamalpur Barge Mounted Power Station, Jamuna & Zia Fertilizer in Chittagong, Multi Purpose container terminal in association with our multinational partners. Our shipbuilding division has built around 70 ships of international class for FAO, the Bangladesh Navy, and Army.

We own and operate a large fleet of 40 ships comprising oil tankers, deep sea fishing trawlers, dry cargo ships, passenger ferries and own the largest Japan-Bangladesh joint venture in heavy engineering in collaboration with the Mitsui group of Japan.

We also have extensive business interests in the field of real estate development, international freight forwarding by air & sea, representing Mitsui OSK lines and Senator lines in Bangladesh.
